MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of the Laredo- Webb County Community Action Agency to eliminate and/or ameliorate causes and conditions of poverty by operating programs and activities which contribute to the accomplishment of this mission. It will also have as its mission, the eradication of barriers to equal opportunities in housing, education, health, transportation, and employment.

The Community Action Agency consists of the following programs:

MEALS-ON-WHEELS

RURAL TRANSPORTATION (EL AGUILA)

WEATHERIZATION

ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM

NEIGHBOR -TO - NEIGHBOR PROGRAM (UTILITY ASSISTANCE)

The majority of our services are free of cost to all qualifying clients. Please don't hesitate to call---we want to serve you!
