The Webb County Court at Law II DWI Court Program has been developed to help participants overcome legal and substance abuse problem. The program is designed to promote self-awareness and behavior modification for participants and improve public safety of our community. The program is voluntary and for non-violent individuals.

Judge Victor Villarreal, the court staff, and program officers are present to guide and assist, but the final responsibility is on the participants. The Participants must be motivated to make this change and commit to an alcohol free life.

The DWI Court Program involves working with the Webb County Court at Law II, Treatment and Supervision teams, all dedicated to participants’ recovery.

The eligibility criteria for acceptance into DWI Court Program are that the Defendant must be:

1. A resident of Webb County and a citizen of the United States.
2. Addicted to/dependent on alcohol and/or other drugs.
3. Mentally and physically capable of participating in an intensive outpatient
     program.
4. Arrested and/or charged with a non-violent offense.
